What Is Reiki Healing?
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing technique that originated in Japan. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese words "Rei" (universal) and "Ki" (life force energy). Reiki healing involves the transfer of universal energy through the hands of the practitioner to promote balance, relaxation, and healing on a physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual level that everyone can use.
Reiki supports the body’s natural ability to heal itself, helping to reduce stress, enhance mental clarity, and promote overall wellbeing. It's a safe, holistic practice that complements traditional medical treatments and is suitable for all ages.

You become more relaxed and at peace with who you are and the world you live in. Once you have learned Reiki you will be able to use Reiki healing techniques on yourself and others.
The Courses
Whether you're new to energy work or looking to deepen your spiritual practice, Reiki training is a transformative journey. Through a combination of theory, hands-on practice, and attunements (energy activations) you will learn how to connect with Reiki energy and use it for self-healing and helping others.
My Reiki courses are designed to be practical, empowering, and heart-centered. No prior experience is necessary for Reiki 1.
Incorporating two Reiki disciplines, one teaching the Western approach and the other going back to the true Japanese origins of Reiki, my courses cover aspects of both traditions so that you get a good grounding in your own personal development and that of healing others.
Reiki is taught in three levels, Reiki Level 1, Level 2 and Reiki Master with each level enhancing your knowledge and power to channel this amazing energy. Each workshop is carried out over 1 day for 2 – 4 people and over 2 days for 4 – 8 people.
Training Overview
I offer Reiki training up to Master / Teacher level giving comprehensive instruction at each degree and incorporating a comprehensive Reiki manual and certification.
Reiki 1
This is your introduction to the wonderful world of Reiki where you will be taught how to give Reiki treatments to yourself and others. You will learn what Reiki is, its ancient history and the Reiki principles. You will receive four separate attunements to open up the healing channel allowing the healing energy to flow through you.
You will be shown the hand positions to use and have plenty of time to practice them yourself. You will learn about the chakra system and where each is located. The body, mind and origins of disease will be discussed together with the best hand position to use to treat certain conditions.
Reiki 2
This is the practitioner level where your healing energy will be greatly increased.
You will receive one further attunement You will be introduced to the sacred symbols, the Power symbol, the Mental/Emotional symbol, the Absent/ Distance symbol, their meaning and how to use them. Ample time will be given to learning the symbols and to practice using them in a full-body treatment and learn how to balance the chakras using the power symbol.
You will also learn and practice how to send absent / distance reiki to yourself and others.
Reiki Master Level
For those ready to take the next step the Reiki Master level can be split into two parts, Reiki Master Practitioner for those who do not want to teach Reiki and the Reiki Master Teacher which can be taken at any time by a certified Master Practitioner. Readiness for these courses will be discussed with each applying student.
All students will have full backup to discuss any queries or problems arising after the completion of any level. I only teach small groups to assure that you have personal attention and have plenty of time to ask any questions you may have.
